The 48-hour freshness window is spot on—I froze half the box and the remaining six were perfectly soft and studded with melty chocolate chunks right up to the last one. Each cookie is a generous 1.5 ounces, so one actually satisfies the craving.
Opened the box and the smell hit me immediately—these are baked the day they ship, and you can tell. I froze half right away and they're still perfect a month later, which is great since 12 cookies is a lot to eat in 48 hours.
The cookie dough is still slightly warm when the box opens, which tells me they really did bake them the same day. I froze half the batch right away, and after a quick thaw they taste just as fresh as the first one I ate.
