Fars dag sprøde chokoladechipkager og pecan-meltaways spand

The bucket is the star here—solid enough that I’ll actually reuse it for tools after Dad’s done with the cookies. The thin and crispy chocolate chips held their crunch for days, and the pecan meltaways were gone by the second morning.

The butter pecan meltaways were the surprise hit — soft, nutty, and gone within two days. The cookies stayed crispy through the whole week, and the bucket's already holding my screwdrivers in the garage. Dad got a kick out of the whole thing.
