Nous l'avons encore fait avec notre cheesecake à la tortue, réalisé selon une recette directement inspirée de Brooklyn. C'est un gâteau de 10 pouces avec des morceaux de noix de pécan moelleuses enrobées de caramel, posés sur un cheesecake crémeux. Ce mélange de fromage à la crème, de noix et de caramel est une véritable expérience gustative.
The caramel layer on top is thick and gooey, almost like a candy shell that cracks when you cut into it. Those pecan clumps are scattered generously so you get that salty-sweet crunch in every single bite. I ordered it for a birthday and the whole table went quiet, which says everything.
