Our Original Crumb Cake is the perfect addition to a brunch or other gathering. Made with fresh butter, brown sugar and cinnamon streusel topping and gently dusted with powdered sugar, this pairs well with morning coffee or as a light dessert!
The butter in the streusel really comes through, giving it that rich, bakery-style taste without being greasy. We set it out for brunch and it was gone before the coffee finished brewing. Even the powdered sugar dusting held up nicely after an hour on the table.
The cinnamon streusel was the star—brown sugar ribbons throughout, not just scattered on top. It held up beautifully over two days on the counter, still moist and crumbly for our Sunday brunch.
