Vi har gjort det igen med vår Turtle Cheesecake, gjord på ett recept rakt från Brooklyn. Det är en 10-tums kaka med klumpar av sega pekannötter dränkta i ett lager kola ovanpå en krämig cheesecake. Denna blandning av färskost, nötter och kola är en riktig smakupplevelse.
The caramel layer on top is thick and gooey, almost like a candy shell that cracks when you cut into it. Those pecan clumps are scattered generously so you get that salty-sweet crunch in every single bite. I ordered it for a birthday and the whole table went quiet, which says everything.

I’ve made plenty of cheesecakes in my day, but this one’s chewy pecan clumps and creamy center actually lived up to the Brooklyn hype. Each slice held together nicely even after a few days in the fridge, which is more than I can say for most store-bought versions.
