My dad's a red velvet fiend, so I was thrilled to see those nestled in next to the chocolate chip and double chocolate. The tin is the perfect size for a desk drawer, and each little cookie has a satisfyingly chewy center.
The tin arrived packed tightly with 54 perfectly bite-sized cookies, and the red velvet ones were surprisingly moist with a nice crumb. My dad's already halfway through the double chocolate batch, and the portion control means he doesn't feel guilty grabbing a few with his coffee.
My dad opened the tin and immediately grabbed a Red Velvet before I could even get the card out—the 54 count means we’ve actually got leftovers for once. The chocolate chip ones stayed soft for three days after we got them, which never happens with bakery stuff.
